This guy hasn’t smoked weed in a long time. Life’s now fresh and a lot more likeable, with the start of every day filled with new opportunities. Days are filled with less angst, paranoia due to ‘dat epic ganja toking’ is gone.
Refusing Weed in Dreams
My newfound anti-marijuana stance is surfacing even in my dreams, which is a bit weird but at least it’s consistent with my stance on sobriety.
There was this dream last night in which I refused a joint from a friend.
We were walking near the city centre of Gouda in the rain. I was holding a knacked rolled cigarette in my right hand. We crossed the street to the Kleiweg and this guy offered me a drag of his joint.
I concentrated memorably, raised my left hand, fingers spread, and said “No thanks, I’ve quit”. We parted ways directly after and he started walking to the McDonald’s. Suddenly there was another guy, who said he didn’t feel like eating. I continued my way for about twenty meters and then the dream ended.
Refusing Weed in Real Life
Now I haven’t been offered a joint in a long time, but I imagine I’d reject it the same way as in the dream, except I’d use my right hand instead of the left.
There are reasons to not smoke weed. If you’ve ever taken a break from smoking, you know you feel better on the break than when you did smoke. That’s one pretty good reason to start with, might be the best one.
Smoking weed can also get expensive fast. If you stop smoking weed, you can use this saved money to start a new hobby and express yourself, which pays off more (directly and in the long run) than smoking ganja will ever pay.
Why go back to a substance that induces memory-loss, fatigue, a grey faded skin, psychological addiction?
That’s what you’ve got to ask yourself. If you find a reason that you think is good contact me via the contact form, I’d like to refute it.
Until the next time.
