It’s a new day at work. It’s calm.
I’m doing my tasks one by one, listening to house music and reading a book in the meantime.
When I was working at the bar, it couldn’t be busy enough. I liked the buzz, liked moving as quickly as I could.
Now I’m more about the tranquilo life. Laid-back work suits me for now.
Sometimes you want to do different things. That’s healthy.
It’s okay to follow your instincts and just go with it. Your instinct is there for a reason.
I heard about a guy who did Ayahuasca, then decided to quit his boring office job and start afresh.
I would have never given into the allure of getting paid extra to do something I hate in the first place, and I’m not alone in this. I used to do work that I didn’t like; it made me unhappy. All the money in the world couldn’t relieve my work-related troubles.
The solution is to find something better. Another solution is to build something for yourself.
I am creating something on the side, and although the steps I take are small, they are steps on the way to a good life.
You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.
Until next time.
