Stargazing

I was just sitting on the balcony, looking at the moon and the stars. Wow. It is such a clear night that I was able to see almost all of it.

It made me think about how small I am compared to what’s out there. Who says there are no aliens eating alien-apples? Who says there isn’t a parallel universe with someone typing a blog just like I am, but on another planet? Everything’s possible.

I guess what got me into this mood is the fact that my time is not spent as productive as I could. I am hanging around a bit, applying for jobs, dozing off. I am broke and I get my pleasure from reading books. Actually, I am kind of waiting for September, which is when the new semester starts.

But all’s not lost. I am eating a lot of fruit and I take walks often. This is not time that’s lost, this is time preparing myself for the new semester. I don’t exactly know what I’ll be studying yet, but I am thinking about taking English so I can work all over the world, teaching English abroad.

That’s primarily why I started this blog: To practice my English writing. In order to succeed at something, you need to practice a lot. Do it again and again and again, and you will succeed.

It’s easy to take days off, but time is a valuable resource.
